Virunga Afternoon Tea 6 x 15 Prism Tea Bags

£23.94

A bright and elegant single origin tea, grown in Rwanda, close to the Virunga National Park. A winner at the Great Taste Awards and Rainforest Alliance Certified™.

A case of our Virunga Afternoon Tea – 15 Prism™ Tea Bags, containing 6 packs. Ideal for store cupboards.

Birchall Virunga™ is a pure origin tea, sourced from the finest tea gardens in Rwanda, found close to the country’s border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Virunga National Park. In this region, the tea bushes grow slowly, at high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavour before they are individually picked. Our pursuit of quality ensures that all our leaves are only ever hand plucked. The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a ‘perfect pick’.

This is how Birchall Virunga™ gains its exceptional brightness, yellow gold colour and distinctively refreshing flavour.

Virunga Afternoon Tea is fully Rainforest Alliance Certified.

We will donate 5p from the proceeds of each pack to help save Virunga, Africa’s oldest national park and protect its mountain gorillas and other wildlife.
