At Birchall Tea we love to support restaurants that have the same commitment to quality and using the finest produce as we do. We were very lucky to spend some time at the wonderful Five Alls in the quaint village of Filkins. The country pub and restaurant is set against the picturesque backdrop of the wonderful Cotswolds.

The Five Alls produces fabulous food, where the emphasis is on local sourcing of ingredients and freshness of flavor. Head chef and owner Sebastian Snow, pays great attention to meticulously sourcing high quality, seasonal ingredients from a wide variety of Cotswolds’ artisan producers when creating his monthly-changing à la carte menu of generous and earthy ‘turf to table’ dishes with Italian influences.

We caught up with Sebastian’s Chef, Sam North over a pot of tea to discuss his approach to cooking and the wonderful bounty of food that can be sourced in the Cotswolds and its surrounds.
